A Free Born Englishman 1796 / I Was and Ass to Bear the First Pair.   An UNC specimen with attractive reddish-bronze toning.   Strong and well centered strike on a flan with notably better-than-average smoothness for the issue.  To top it off, the piece is accompanied by an old sales ticket noting R.
